Under strict security measures, accompanied by a delegation, Donald Trump's son-in-law has just arrived in Vlora. Jared Kushner has arrived with a delegation in the cold water area. He will hold a meeting there to discuss further about the investment in Sazan Island.

Kushner has a project to invest in luxury villas on the island of Sazan and in Zvërnec. For this, they are collaborating with the Albanian state, which has also created a company, "Albanian State Development & Real Estate", which will be a shareholder in the tourist resort to be built on the island of Sazan.

From a former communist-era military base, Sazani is on the verge of a radical transformation. An island shrouded in silence for decades, it is now expected to shine on the global map of elite tourism – amidst American interests, Albanian wealth and the challenge of sustainable development.

Donald Trump's son-in-law, businessman Jared Kushner, received Strategic Investor status in 2024.

According to this decision, the investment in the island by the company linked to Donald Trump's son-in-law is worth 1.4 billion euros and the construction is expected to extend to 8% of the island, or an area of ​​45 hectares. This project is expected to employ over a thousand people.

A few weeks ago, Kushner withdrew from a development project in Belgrade, which was expected to build a luxury hotel in the Serbian capital.
