Internationally wanted, 30-year-old extradited from Dubai

A 30-year-old man on international wanted list has been extradited from Dubai to Albania.

In 2024, the Court had imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on 30-year-old Bamir Halili (Axhami), originally from Kukës, for the criminal offenses "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Domestic violence".

"Intensive cooperation continues with counterparts in the United Arab Emirates, within the framework of the operation codenamed "The Wanted."

A citizen accused of illegal possession of weapons and domestic violence is being extradited from Dubai.

"As a result of the informational and operational coordination between specialists from the Interpol Directorate and specialists from Interpol Abu Dhabi, during this phase of the operation codenamed "The Wanted", the procedure for the extradition from Dubai to Albania of citizen B. (H.)(A.), 30 years old, born in Kukës, was finalized," the Police announced.
