Interpol Tirana has extradited from Italy a 39-year-old Albanian citizen, sentenced to 8 years in prison for drug trafficking.

The extradited citizen is Haki Mehmeti, convicted by the Court of Vlora and has to serve another 6 years, 9 months and 27 days in prison.

Extradited from Italy, an Albanian citizen sentenced to 8 years in prison, for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Disobedience to the order of public order police officers".

As a result of the ongoing cooperation between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome, for the capture and extradition of citizens declared internationally wanted, the Albanian citizen was extradited from Italy to Albania:

Haki Mehmeti, 39 years old, born in Elbasan.
