The news was announced by the Ministry of Defense, which expressed its condolences to Ernest's family through a post on Facebook.

Ernesti lost his life in one of the hospitals in Turkey.

Saddened by the loss of the life of one of our good boys, the second soldier of the Civilian Support and Emergencies Base, Ernesto Leka. Despite the efforts of his family and the Ministry of Defense, he could not succeed in the battle with the serious illness, closing his eyes, at such a young age, in one of the hospitals in Turkey. Heartfelt condolences to Ernest's family and his colleagues!
