A 36-year-old Albanian man was found hanged and in a decomposed state inside a warehouse in the Tyrnavos area of ​​Greece. Media in the neighboring country report that the deceased, whose identity has not been disclosed, worked as a land laborer in the area.

The body was identified after some of his friends contacted local Greek media and recognized him from the description and images published in a previous report. They had been searching for him for days. Immediately after this, the Greek police notified the victim's family in Albania and initiated procedures to fully inform them.

The body was found in a warehouse next to a secondary road, in a location not easily visible. The discovery was made by a citizen who had construction materials on a nearby plot and smelled a strong odor coming from the building.

The 36-year-old was hanging with a very thin rope, similar to those used for vineyards. It is learned that the rope broke and the body fell to the floor. Preliminary investigations indicate that the warehouse may have been used from time to time as a shelter by unknown persons.

The body was in an advanced state of decomposition, suggesting death occurred at least five days ago. Authorities have not ruled out foul play and are investigating all leads.

The body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Larisa for an autopsy, in order to determine the exact cause and time of death.
