Regarding the case broadcast yesterday evening, in the investigative show "Fiks Fare", on Top Channel television, where a police officer appears, we inform you that:

The director of the Durrës Police Local Directorate, in accordance with point 8 of article 222 of the State Police Regulation, has immediately suspended the police employee Deputy Commissioner E. Ç., who is an officer in the Shijak Police Station.

Also, the Directorate of Professional Standards in the General Directorate of the State Police has launched a disciplinary investigation against him, for violation of point 1 of article 209 of the State Police Regulation "Does not fulfill or fails to fulfill the duties and responsibilities which have caused serious consequences in the performance of duties".

Meanwhile, the Police Supervision Agency has started the criminal investigation against the Police employee.

The State Police thanks the media and citizens who report cases of abuse of duty by Police officers, and invites them again to report any such case, guaranteeing an immediate and impartial response.
