The 9 district prosecutor's offices that will be merged as a result of the new judicial map have a total of over 10,000 files that will be transferred to the 13 prosecution bodies that will remain dependent on the judicial districts that the Supreme Court has determined.

The official data of the General Prosecutor's Office show that Lushnja has the highest number of files with over 2 thousand that will be attached to the Prosecutor's Office of Fier, which until 2022 counts over 4 thousand of its cases.

The most problematic in terms of the high concentration of the number of files is the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana, which currently has about 26 thousand cases and another 2 thousand will be added to it, from the Prosecutor's Office of Kruja.

Kavaja, Pogradeci and Kurbini, the other 3 prosecutions that will be merged have a number of files from 1 thousand 300 to 1600, they will be joined respectively to Durrës, Korça and Lezha.

Less than 1 thousand files have Përmeti, Tropoja, Puka and Mati, which will join Gjirokastra, Kukës, Shkodra and Dibra, respectively.

The files must have been transferred before May 1 and according to the instructions of the General Prosecutor's Office, all 9 prosecutors who will be merged must take measures to transfer the files so that investigative secrecy is not violated./TvKlan
