New details emerge regarding the serious incident in Korça, where a 70-year-old woman was found dead in her apartment.

The woman who passed away has been identified as Bayme Memetali,  the elderly woman who passed away the day before, Panorama writes .

The elderly woman's neighbor says that the 70-year-old lived alone, as her son was in prison, and her husband had passed away some time ago.

She says they called the police after becoming concerned after not seeing her the last day.

The neighbor speaks: My neighbor told me 'let's go see Bayma because she's not feeling well'. I told her to come see her, let's go together. We both left, we took the neighbor with us because we were scared, that neighbor came in and then we. She had fallen off the couch, we told her sister, 'let's go, Bayma has died'.

We also called the police. We didn't go in and out with him because he was a miscreant, his door was unlocked, his son unlocked it.

He lived alone, didn't eat or drink, and no one sent him food.

We suspected it because she wasn't feeling well, because she used to hit a neighbor's ceiling with a stick when she needed something. And we thought we'd go check on her, and we found her dead.

Her son is in prison, she was in financial difficulty, without food or drink.

She was sick, fell from the fourth floor and became paralyzed. Sometimes her sister would come from Tirana to do her service.
