They came down from the roofs to sneak into different apartments. A specialized gang of Albanian citizens, accused of 17 residential burglaries, committed between October 14 and 28, was beaten by the police in Milan in an operation in which special forces also participated.

The Italian media reports that there are four young men aged 30, 32, 34 and 41, arrested on Tuesday morning by the Carabinieri of Milan.

During the operation, as can be seen from the video published by the carabinieri, the agents discovered hundreds of thousands of euros hidden by the Albanians.

The suspected gang members were tracked down inside different houses in Paderno Dugnano (Milan), Varedo (UK) and Limbiate (UK).

The investigative activity - which included surveillance and interception services, installation of video security system cameras, technical telephone activities and environmental monitoring - began with the identification of a stolen large engine car used by the group to go to places of thefts, from where they then left.

In this vehicle, the "hawks" from Albania used license plates cloned from other cars. During the search, clothing used during the thefts, burglary tools, a circular saw, radio receivers, torches, car keys, cash in euros, jewelry and a watch of hidden origin were found.

Furthermore, during the operation, another Albanian citizen, also with a criminal record, was subjected to controls and was accompanied to the police station for further investigations.
