Muhamet Round

The General Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, went to the office of the director of the Tirana Police, Tonin Vocaj, on the morning of this Monday.

Sources indicate that the focus of the discussion is the recent unsolved criminal events in the capital. Rrumbullak and Vocaj are discussing the progress of the investigations, where it is suspected that highly influential criminal groups are behind those assassinations.

It is learned that the crime experts who are working to unravel them are also at the meeting. Two of the assassinations that shocked the capital are the Don Bosco event and the Kalashnikov barrage against the Top Channel building, where in both events two innocent victims lost their lives, such as the bartender Mimoza Paja and the security guard Pal Kola.

Also, it is learned that in the meeting between Rrumbullak and Vocaj, the new structure of the State Police is also being discussed, which has been approved by the Ministry of the Interior and is expected to come into force very soon. An important part of this structure is the establishment of new departments that will fight organized crime and not only.
