In North Macedonia, Remzi Azemi , who was wanted by Ecuador after being accused of several murders, was arrested.

The young man, originally from Kosovo, was wanted under "code red" for the murder of another Albanian in Ecuador. It is about the execution of Ilir Hidri, an event that happened in May 2017.

" During the investigative process, evidence was collected that proves the connection of the citizen of Kosovo with this crime. Azemi R. was on red notice for that murder.

Therefore, the Southern Criminal Judicial Unit, based in Guayaquil, had issued an arrest warrant against him in 2021 ," Ecuadorian media write about his arrest.

Now, Remzi Azemi is awaiting the formal process of extradition to Ecuador./ El Universo
