The border police of Rinas have arrested a 38-year-old man who was declared an international wanted man, who was coming to Albania. Citizen Dritan Hyka (Asimaj), 38 years old, resident of Selenicë, Vlorë, was put in handcuffs.

"After the verifications carried out by the Border Police, in cooperation with Interpol Tirana, it turned out that this citizen was declared an international wanted by Interpol Rome, Italy, after the Court of Milan sentenced him to 8 years of imprisonment, for the criminal offense of "Exploitation of prostitution" , "Drug trafficking", "Attempted residential burglary" and "Violation of the migration law", provided for by Italian criminal legislation.

During 2012, this citizen exploited the prostitution of a large number of Albanian and Romanian women in Milan, Italy. He was also involved in the trafficking of the narcotic substance cocaine, he carried a firearm without a permit, a pistol, in public places, and he tried to steal from an apartment, but he was unable to because of the intervention of the Police. In 2009, he violated the law on migration, as he did not implement the decision not to enter Italy for 10 years," said the Police announcement.

The authorities announce that following the actions, Dritan Hyka (Asimaj) was arrested for the purpose of extradition to Italy. Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Rome, is following the procedures for his extradition to this country.
