A serious accident was registered today at the entrance to the village of Mashan in Gramsh.

Sources indicate that 65-year-old Hekuran Perfundi lost control over the driving of his "Ford Focus" and the car ended up in a canal.

As a result of the accident, the driver Hekuran Perfundi lost his life and the victim's niece and nephew were injured, both minors, namely Aneda Perfundi, 9 years old, and Eni Perfundi, 7 years old, who were passengers in the vehicle.

It is suspected that the 65-year-old suffered a cardiac arrest and consequently lost control of his vehicle. The two minors were transported to the hospital and their lives are out of danger.
