Ibrahim Lici, arrested on February 13 in Turkey, is reported to have agreed with one of the most famous Turkish lawyers.

Journalist Klodiana Lala says that through his legal representative, Lici is seeking to change the measure imposed on him.

This action raises questions as to whether Lici will be extradited to Albania to face Albanian justice or will be released.

We remind you that Lici was wanted because he is accused of murdering Endri Mustafa.

At the time of his arrest, Lici was in the apartment of a friend of his in Istanbul, while during the search, a gun, 50 cartridges, forged documents in the name of a Belgian citizen were found.

Immediately after the news of his arrest, his brother Hamza Lici reacted to the media saying that the young man from Shkodra was not arrested, but surrendered. Also, he emphasized that Ibrahim Lici is now seeking asylum status, claiming that his life is in danger in Albania. But the family's claim has never been confirmed by either the Albanian or the Turkish police.
