A serious event was recorded today in Fier, where a teenager tried to end her life by drinking phostoxin.

The police announce that a 15-year-old minor citizen has been presented to the regional hospital of Fier, after allegedly consuming a poisonous substance (phototoxin), which is out of danger for life.

" On 10.02.2024, around 8:40 p.m., a 15-year-old minor citizen was presented at the regional hospital of Fier, after allegedly consuming a poisonous substance (phototoxin), which is out of danger for life.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Fier General Jurisdiction, for further actions ", the police informs.

We remind you that in the country the consumption of phostoxin to commit suicide is becoming a widespread phenomenon every day. During the last few weeks, several tragic cases have been recorded.
