A 20-year-old man from France was found dead this morning, around 05:15, on the sun loungers of a bar in Ksamil.

It is initially suspected that the young man was stabbed to death by a 29-year-old from Hasi after a conflict, the motives of which are still unclear.

After the incident, the 29-year-old man left the scene, while the police continue to work to capture him and fully clarify the circumstances.

"Around 05:15, on the beach loungers, in front of a bar in Ksamil, the French citizen MM, about 20 years old, was found without signs of life, suspected of having been stabbed with a cutting instrument (knife).

From preliminary investigations, it is suspected that, during a conflict over weak motives, the 20-year-old was attacked with a cutting tool by citizen SV, 29, a resident of Has, who left immediately after the incident.

Police services continue checks to locate and capture the suspected perpetrator.

"In the meantime, the investigative group is at the scene and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to clarify the circumstances and complete legal documentation of the event," the police announced today.
