A young Albanian has ended up behind bars in Greece, after being accused of being involved in a serious incident. Greek media reports that the 27-year-old Albanian, who lived in Zakynthos, is accused of raping and drugging his 19-year-old girlfriend, who was also pregnant.

The event happened on Tuesday evening, when the 27-year-old went and took the 19-year-old, who was about 2 months pregnant, from the house. According to the same information, after taking his partner to his house, the 27-year-old tied her up, beat her and forced her to take medication to terminate the pregnancy. The next morning, the 27-year-old sent the 19-year-old to the hospital in Zakynthos, where she is being treated out of danger, but her pregnancy has been terminated.

After a complaint, the Zakynthos Police Directorate yesterday arrested the Albanian, who is accused of domestic violence, termination of pregnancy, dangerous bodily harm and theft, after taking his partner's cell phone.
