Serious/ The 46-year-old Italian woman is arrested, she poisoned the Albanian

A 46-year-old Italian woman was arrested by the police this Sunday in Italy after she tried to poison her Albanian husband with rat grass.

The authorities' suspicions came after reports from doctors who had visited the 54-year-old Albanian, who had been hospitalized several times, with symptoms consistent with rat poison.

The Institute of Forensic Medicine then confirmed the case through a clinical examination, where they found chemical elements in the blood of the Albanian, which are used in rat poisons. Doctors realized that the 54-year-old man of Albanian origin had taken doses of deadly substances every time he came to the hospital.

After the investigations of the carabinieri, the officers performed a physical check at the Albanian's house, where they found a syringe filled with an unknown substance, which was later found to be lethal by the expert. The police arrested the 46-year-old wife of the Albanian as the main suspect for this event.

She was given the security measure of house arrest while the 54-year-old Albanian received appropriate treatment from the doctors.
