A 22-year-old man in Tirana has ended up in handcuffs again.

Kevin Cungu is suspected of having sex with a 15-year-old girl against her will in his apartment.

The police say that the young man was meanwhile under personal security measure, "house arrest".

"Specialists for Investigating Crimes of the Police Station No. 4 arrested the citizen KC, 22 years old, resident in Tirana, currently under personal security measure "House Arrest", as it is suspected that in his apartment, he had sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl, against her will, the police announced.

Kevin Cungu is a well-known name to the police after he was arrested in 2021 for "Attempted murder" and "Carrying weapons without a permit".

He was recently released under house arrest.

On September 11, 2020, Cungu wounded citizen Rexhep Xhekja with a firearm.

Regarding the event, he learned that he had been communicating with the 15-year-old girl for several months.

He convinced the latter to go to his apartment.

There, the 15-year-old girl refused to have sex with Kevin Cungu, but the latter allegedly violated and then raped the minor girl.
