An assassination attempt on a bar in Don Bosco has left the bartender of the bar dead, while 5 people have been injured, among them a child.

The owner of the bar Fatjon Murati was under the security measure of "house arrest" after the arrest, while during the search he was not found in his apartment.

Meanwhile, the bar that was shot at this evening in "Don Bosko", owned by Fatjon Murat, turns out to be confiscated.

The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana requested the seizure of four assets and three businesses worth 5 million euros, owned by Fatjon Murat, on October 14, 2022.

Murat was under investigation since 2018, when he was referred as a suspect for criminal activity in the field of narcotics outside Albania.

The bartender Mimoza Paja, 62 years old, was killed by the shooting, while 5 people were injured, including a 10-year-old girl who was injured by the window panes.

In an official announcement, the police announced that shots were fired from outside towards the bar, which determines that we are dealing with an assassination attempt, while the perpetrators or the target are still unknown.

Fatjon Murati's uncle, Sahit Murati, is also among the wounded.
