New details have emerged in the media regarding the operation conducted a few days ago by SPAK in the city of Vlora , where several people suspected of being part of the criminal group of Inez Hajrulla , a well-known name in the world of organized crime, were arrested.
According to published information, the action is considered an important development for investigations in this city, as it is among the first cases when SPAK opens such a file that is directly related to criminal activities in Vlora.
So far, this institution's investigations have been mainly focused on other cities such as Elbasan, Durrës and Lezha .
It is also reported that during the operation, authorities entered for the first time the residential area of Hajrulla, known as the "Oslo block", an area that according to sources was guarded with strong security measures.
According to the same sources, Inez Hajrulla is considered one of the most guarded people in the country, often moving in convoys of armored cars and with numerous security measures.
Stories and suspicions about his group's involvement in several serious criminal incidents have long circulated on the streets of Vlora, however, until now many of them had not brought concrete security measures.
Some other information circulating in the media states that Hajrulla and his group lived on the top floors of the Oslo block and their doors were armored and barbed, where it is suspected that serious events may have been committed inside those apartments.
Vlora has been mentioned for years as one of the areas most affected by organized crime, while the main criminal activity associated with these groups is suspected to be drug trafficking.
SPAK's latest investigations are expected to shed more light on the role and activity of this group in the coastal city.
According to media reports, Hajrulla took over the city's criminal group after the execution of his boss Edison Harizaj, or as he is known in the underworld as " Edison Faqedjeguri, " in November 2018, when he was only 26 years old.
