Two employees who were serving near the scanner of the Rinas airport at the time of the passage of the Turkish citizens with two bags of 31 kilograms of drugs, have been dismissed from their duties after it turned out that they did not report the situation, and the scanner also spotted the images of the presence of narcotics in the bags.
Two security officers in the scanning sector as well as the head of security in the concession company were also fired, reports OraNews.
From the verifications carried out up to this stage, it is learned that Turkish citizens have been spotted by the scanner, which has logged the red "Alert" signal.
But surprisingly, the employee on duty who verifies and administers the data collected by the scanner, has not taken any measures to prevent the passing of Turkish citizens with bags full of hashish.
This is because the employee in question never signaled the police officers to exercise their physical control.
But while the administrative measures in the private sector were taken immediately, on the other hand, the Police Supervision Agency still does not have a report on the situation and position of the police officers in this event.
After the discovery of 31 kg of drugs and the arrest of two Turkish citizens at the Istanbul airport, AMP announced that it had launched an administrative-criminal investigation against some employees of the Rinas police station.
