SPAK has closed the investigations and charged Gentian Goskova, known as Reqi i Korça, and his associate Ervis Kosova. These two citizens were investigated by SPAK after they tried to corrupt and manipulate the prosecution witness, Luftar Reçi.

The latter has testified against Lulzim Berisha, Emiljano Shullazi, Plaurent Dervish, Viktor Imerit, Indri Taullaut and Indri Rusit, as perpetrators involved in the murder of businessman Vajdin Lamaj and Klodian Sali, events that took place in February 2005.

" The investigation so far has proven that the defendants Gentian Goskova known by the pseudonym (Reqi) and the defendant Ervis Kosova, in collaboration with themselves and with other persons, have consumed the elements of the criminal offenses of "Active corruption of the witness, of the expert or translators", in the form of the proposal and promise of irregular benefits to the witness, to secure false statements from the latter ", says the announcement of SPAK.

The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, Tirana, in cooperation with the National Bureau of Investigation, has completed preliminary investigations for criminal proceedings no. 252/4 of 2022.

At the end of the preliminary investigations, the following defendants were taken and sent for trial:

Gentian Goskova, accused of having committed the criminal offense of "Active corruption of the witness, expert or translator", committed in cooperation, provided by article 312 and 25 of the Criminal Code.

Ervis Kosova, accused of having committed the criminal offense of "Active corruption of the witness, expert or translator", committed in collaboration, provided by article 312 and 25 of the Criminal Code.

The investigation so far has proven that the defendants Gentian Goskova, known by the pseudonym (Reqi) and the defendant Ervis Kosova, in cooperation with themselves and with other persons, have consumed the elements of the criminal offense of "Active corruption of the witness, expert or interpreter ”, in the form of the proposal and promise of irregular benefits to the witness, to secure from the latter false statements (statements obtained in the function of criminal proceedings no. 252/2020), thus consuming the criminal offenses provided for from articles 312-25 of the Criminal Code.
