Journalist and moderator Arben Ahmeti was arrested yesterday by the Kosovo Police in the evening hours. Ahmeti was arrested after he raped the woman in the presence of the children. Gazeta Express reports that journalists pushed the woman after the latter had asked to stay at home for the children.

"On 25.09.2022, at 18:15, a report of violence was received in the village of Laplla Selle, Dragovacka street. The patrol came to the scene as well as the investigating police on duty for domestic violence where, according to the VA, there was a conflict with the husband. So today, 25.09. 22 around 18:00 the suspect Arben Ahmeti, who at that time had brought the two children (5 and 6 years old) who were staying with him since 23.09.22 because the couple does not live together.

At that moment there was a conflict when the victim/woman asked the suspect to stay at home with his family because the children, who at that moment were crying for their father, asked him, the suspect objected by verbally insulting him the victim until the moment when there was physical contact, namely by pushing him with his hands on the part of the suspect.

"Due to the anxiety, stress, condition of the victim, the patrol requested medical assistance for him," the police report states.
