New details have emerged regarding the Greek police investigation into the serious shooting incident that occurred in the Mikrolimano area of Piraeus and involved the 42-year-old man of Albanian origin, known as "Titi", Alessio Xhelo, with a serious criminal past and who is wanted in both countries.
According to police sources, Greek officers have continued to identify the second person who accompanied the 42-year-old, shortly before the confrontation with police officers from the Extortion Investigation Unit. The investigation reveals that he is a well-known Albanian artist from the music scene, who is suspected of being at the same table with the accused and three women, who have already been summoned by the authorities to give official statements regarding the incident.
According to Greek media , the musician in question ran away from the scene as soon as the police operation began, while it is considered possible that he will voluntarily present himself before the authorities in the near future, Greek media inform.
The competent police officers are carefully examining the type of relationship that connected the two men, focusing on whether the artist was aware of the fact that the 42-year-old was illegally in Greek territory and carrying heavy weapons, as well as whether he has any other involvement in illegal activities.
"Titi" was injured during the operation after resisting police with a weapon, and ammunition and 6 grenades were found in his bag.
