Vangjush Dako will appear before the special appeals court on July 18 at 10:00.

The former mayor of Durrës Municipality is accused of abuse of office in two cases. The appeal session will be reviewed by judge Daniela Shirka.

Dako was put in handcuffs on June 6 by order of SPAK.

The first case of abuse of office for which he is accused is related to the granting of permission for the construction of a building in Durrës, which was damaged by the earthquake of 2019, while the second case is related to a tender for the rehabilitation of coastline
