Melisa Trëndafili, who was burned with gasoline by her husband with whom she was in the process of divorcing, is fighting with her wounds in the QSUT hospital.

The 31-year-old spoke for the first time on the show "Albania LIVE" with moderator Sidorela Gjoni, telling what happened at that event.

Melissa told all the terrible moment she experienced, the current situation and the reasons that led her husband to this extreme act.

" I'm very bad, the doctors told me you'll get better, I was coming back from work, and I was in the alley of the house, he stopped and I didn't see that he had the can because he had hidden it in his pocket, a small can.

He threw the gas on me, lit the lighter, lit it and ran away. I started shouting that there was no one there, a neighbor shot, who took me to the yard and put out the fire with water. Two days ago he came from Saranda, we talked quietly, we parted very well, and I told him to talk well for the sake of the children.

On the second day he did not come alive at all, while on the third day this happened. So far the doctors say that I will have to stay longer, but we do not know if I will have to go abroad.

My hands, stomach and thighs are very bad. I have a fever and the anxiety part has started. I'm afraid, his image pops up in my head, I'm afraid for myself and the children. I have known him for 10 years. He has changed his name, in December I was getting sick very often because I was under a lot of stress, and I was telling him to pull himself together for the sake of the family, but he was not improving.

There I saw that it would not change and I said to see my life. I contact his family, because I have a good relationship, they support me. I came to live at my family's house, and I work where I can, because I can't work in a regular place with insurance ," said Melisa Trendafili.
