The Bank of Albania has taken the decision to suspend the license of the subject, " Micro Credit Albania ".

Micro Credit Albania 's license was suspended in December of last year for a period of 12 months, but it was allowed to administer the portfolio of loans it had and previously purchased debts.

Along with the suspension of the license, " Micro Credit Albania " has also been banned from debt restructuring.

In the decision of the Bank of Albania, only the sale of the previously purchased loan portfolio of other debt companies is allowed.

Micro Credit Albania is a non-bank financial institution licensed in 2016.

Although it is licensed for all forms of lending, in fact the company's activity has mainly consisted of buying bad loans from other financial institutions and collecting them from debtors.
