In Tirana, the court detained 31-year-old Gleard Gusholli, suspected of domestic violence and illegal deprivation of liberty to his co-habitant. The abused girl has just escaped the isolation of her co-habitant and is now being treated at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana for the many wounds she has throughout her body, some of which predominate on her face, such as a stitched tear on her forehead.

She told the Voice of America that she had hoped to build a regular life with her boyfriend, but he raped her in Albania much more severely than in Germany, where they had met. The portrait, voice and name of the girl in the interview have been hidden for security reasons.

"The second week in Tirana was terrible for me. I have seen horror with my eyes. I have seen death with my own eyes. He has severely abused me. He punched me in the head and face. He kicked me in the head, face and body. He hit me with a stick full of nails. He showed me the knife and threatened me: "I will tear my stomach open". He put his fingers deep in my throat, about to strangle me", - recounts Alma, 28 years old, the daughter of a family of Albanian immigrants in Germany.

She says that in addition to physical violence, Gleardi threatened to kill her family members in Germany, to throw her body in the river. They met a year and a half ago in Germany, when Gleardi happened to be receiving treatment at the hospital where Alma worked as a nurse and where she had to translate for the German doctors for this patient. They lived together in the house next to that of the girl's parents, where Gleardi was unemployed and started the violence.

"Initially we lived very well, then after four or five weeks the violence against me started, but not as extreme as here in Albania. My parents found out about this and said to him: Please, take your things and run away from home, because we have raised this child for 28 years and we have not touched him once, and you come and hit us."

Gleardi convinced Alma that they would start a new life in Albania after 3 months of leaving Germany without communicating between them. She came to Albania on April 1 to rebuild a new life together. In the first week they fixed the apartment, but in the second week a violence started, many times greater than in Germany. Agroni, the girl's father, demands justice and wishes that no other girl will ever experience the violence against his daughter. He said that Gleardi has been constantly violent and therefore removed him from the German home after the violence he started against the girl.

“I dha shenjat ai qysh atje. Unë i kam edhe fotografitë që ai e ka dhunuar. Vajza ime kur e pyesja: “Pse nuk ke shkuar në punë”, ajo mbulonte kokën dhe thoshte: “Jam pushim sot”. Ai e kishte copë e kishte masakruar. Edhe prapë vajza ime i dha një shans pas disa muajsh dhe vendosi të bashkëjetojë këtu”, tha babai i Almës për Zërin e Amerikës. 

Avokati i familjes, Enea Cenko, thotë se rasti ka nevojë për shumë kujdes në cilësimin e veprave penale.

“Në këtë rast kemi të bëjmë me tortura, me rrëmbim, me vrasje në tentativë. Kemi një sërë rrethana dhe vepra penale, si dhe përdorim me dhunë i lëndëve narkotike. Kam besim se drejtësia do të hedhë hapat e duhur në shqyrtimin e kësaj çështje, që i shtohet ngjarje të dhunshme ndaj vajzave”, thotë avokati Cenko.

Avokati thotë se ka ndjekur edhe herë të tjera çështje dhune brenda familjes, por format dhe pasojat që shfaqen në këtë rast janë të një niveli të lartë dhe avokatët rrallë e ndeshin në procese të tilla. Ngjarja shfaqet shumë komplekse edhe për profesinistë si psikologia klinike Rudina Koromani, sepse bashkohen në një pengmarrja, kërcënimi për jetën, dhuna fizike, traumat psikologjike dhe abuzimi me substancat narkotike. Ndaj ajo thotë se të githë këta elemente kërkojnë një hetim të kujdesshëm.

“Mendoj se kjo ngjarje mund të ishte shmangur për faktin se marrëdhënia mes tyre ka shfaqur elementet e dhunës, nëse vajza do të ishte treguar e vendosur në mosfillimin e marrëdhënies pasi kishte pikasur elementet e dhunës, sigurisht kjo dhunë do të ishte evituar. Vajzat dhe gratë duhet të distancohen nga partnerët ose bashkëjetuesit e tyre të dhunshëm sapo të shohin shenjat e para të dhunës, dhe mos të presin që dhuna të përshkallëzohet, sepse me siguri dhuna do të përshkallëzohet, dhe mund të rrezikojnë edhe humbjen e jetës”, thotë psikologia Koromani.

Studimet e kësaj fushe vërejnë një tendencë përherë në rritje të denoncimeve të dhunës në familje, gjë që sipas tyre, tregon se edhe ndërgjegjësimin në rritje të grave dhe vajzave. Ekspertët pohojnë se në Shqipëri ekziston ende kultura e fshehjes së dhunës në familje dhe mos nxjerrja e saj në publik, por sipas tyre, vajzat dhe gratë po e refuzojnë dhunën përherë e më shumë, dhe po ndërgjegjësohen se dhuna nuk ka të bëjë me dashurinë, por ajo është shkelje e rëndë e të drejtave të njeriut.
