Arrested one of the perpetrators of the conflict where he was shot with a gun in an event that happened in November 2023 in Peqin where the mayor, Bukurosh Maçi, was also present .

Adriatik Čeka , wanted for attempted murder and "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", has been arrested .

"On 24.11.2023, in the neighborhood "Xami", Peqin, during a conflict for weak motives with the citizen AL, the citizen A. Ç. fired a firearm at him," the police informed today.

The detainee was previously convicted of crimes against the person and possession of weapons without a permit. 

Police notification:

Following the intensive actions of the Police, carried out within the framework of the national police operation coded "Rule of Law", for the capture of wanted citizens based on the information provided by the police intelligence, the services of the Peqin Police Station, of the Special Force FNSh and those of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person, located, captured and handcuffed the citizen A. Ç., 40 years old, a resident of Peqin.

For this citizen, the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Deliberate murder", remaining in the attempt, and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition.
