SPAK has conducted a broad investigative action, conducting over 18 inspections of apartments as part of investigations related to NAKSHI tenders.
According to sources, the controls focused on finding and seizing money, financial documents, contracts and other materials suspected of being related to tender procedures.
It is reported that during the action, dozens of mobile phones were seized, which are suspected to belong to people who had direct or indirect connections with Mirlinda Karçanaj, as well as with two businessmen with the initials EA and EB.
Sources claim that 11 procurement procedures are under investigation, for which the special prosecution suspects violations of equality in tenders and other abuses.
Several security measures have been issued as part of this operation. 'House arrest' has been imposed on citizen Mirlinda Karçanaj and prison arrest on citizens with the initials EA and EB.
SPAK is expected to make a public statement to the media soon. The investigation into this matter began a year ago and the prosecutor in charge of the case is Bledar Maksuti.
