TRAGIC accident in Berat, a 50-year-old man loses his life!
Roskovec–Berat

A fatal accident occurred this morning on the Roskovec-Berat axis .

Near the village of Strum, a vehicle hit a citizen around 50 years old, who was riding a bicycle.

Due to the injuries he sustained, he lost his life.

Police services and an investigation team immediately arrived at the scene, working to fully clarify the causes and circumstances of this fatal accident.

Police announcement:

"Preliminary information / At around 10:00, on the "Fier-Berat" road axis, in Strum, the vehicle driven by citizen Arbi Toro collided with the bicycle driven by citizen Gëzim Xhoka, 50 years old, resident of Strum.
As a result of the collision, citizen Gëzim Xhoka lost his life. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the police station for further procedural actions. The investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances and cause of the accident," the police announced.
