Journalist Adi Krasta aimed at Radio Television of Kosovo, for the position of deputy general director, but he has encountered problems. In the interview held, he came second, while the one who defeated Krasta is the journalist Ilire Zajmi.
The competition for this high position was opened on November 22. While the name of the journalist from Albania was mentioned in the media as one of the candidates, but there was no confirmation from him.
However, Gazeta Insajderi has learned through sources that Adi Krasti came second. Ilire Zajmi came first based on accumulated points. In a statement to the Kosovar media, she confirmed that she won over 80 points.
"I came first in the interview held on December 19, and I was evaluated with a maximum of 82.60 points," she said briefly to Insider.
Other candidates in the race for deputy director general were Rilind Gërvalla and Naser Thaqi.
Meanwhile, Gazeta Insajderi has learned that the complaints commission has returned the case to re-evaluation. This happened because one of the candidates complained. The same candidate is being interviewed again today.
Also, the RTK trade union had come out against the appointment of Krasta in this position.
The chairman of the Independent Radio and Television Union of Kosovo, Fadil Hoxha, has stated that he has information that journalist Adi Krasta may be the next director of public television in Kosovo.
But, according to him, the law says that in order to be part of the management, Krasta must have the citizenship of Kosovo.
"The RTK law stipulates that in order to be a television manager, one must have the citizenship of Kosovo. And what Krasta published, exactly at the time of the competition, remains to be seen. I don't know exactly", said Hoxha in an interview in front of Ilir Mirena in Preiskopi.
Some days ago, the journalist Krasta, through a post on Facebook, had confirmed that he has received Kosovar citizenship and this has put into question whether Krasta will compete for director of RTK.
