93 road accidents in September, INSTAT: In 94.6% drivers are the cause!

Albania's roads continue to bleed as a result of road accidents. In the latest INSTAT report, it is noted that 93 accidents were registered in the month of September alone.

122 people were injured and some of them lost their lives in these accidents

Both the number of accidents and the number of people involved in them has increased if we take September 2022 as a comparison.

Experts have highlighted that road accidents, in 94.6% of cases, occurred as a result of the driver's behavior. The highest number of accidents in this period was committed by the 25-34 age group, accounting for 25.8% of the total number of accidents.

INSTAT reports that accidents in this age group have increased by 9.1%, compared to the same period a year ago.

In the month of September 2023, the highest number of road accidents occurred on Saturday.

In the nine months of 2023, there were 863 road accidents out of 884 accidents that occurred in the same period of the previous year.
