A dancer at a nightclub in Milan has reported to the police an alleged assault by a client of the bar, a 25-year-old Albanian.

"A client forced me to have sex with him," said the 25-year-old Italian woman, who was working on Sunday evening when she was approached by a club client who had arranged with the club's management to retreat to a private room with the girl for about half an hour.

According to the girl's testimony, everything allegedly happened inside this room.

There, away from the eyes of other customers and security personnel, the abuse is suspected to have taken place. The victim told officers, who were the first to intervene in the nightclub, that she also suspected drugs had been put in her cocktail. The alarm was raised at around 5am on Monday. This happened after the 25-year-old with a criminal record, after the alleged violence, began to disturb the nightclub staff.

The first patrols of the Carabinieri have taken the testimony of the ballerina, who had managed to free herself and leave the private room, complaining about the client's behavior. A little later, medical personnel arrived and accompanied the girl to an anti-violence center, where she was visited and received assistance from the clinic's psychologist. The results of the medical examinations are expected in the coming days. This is an important step for the work of the investigators, coordinated by the Milan Prosecutor's Office, who must clarify several aspects of the incident and find evidence that supports the victim's confession. The girl has not yet formalized the complaint.

The suspect in the incident was checked by the carabinieri, but no useful evidence was found for the investigation. The girl's and the client's underwear were seized to search for biological traces. It is possible that the ballerina, who was questioned in a state of shock, will be questioned again.
