The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, after the meeting of the Council of Ministers , on the anniversary of the terrorist attack on Top Media, said that this week the investigations into the event have entered an intensive phase.

He emphasized that efforts are being made to document with evidence the number of people involved in this serious event and the discovery of the entire mechanization that ordered and executed the attack.

"A serious act from which the police have been conducting investigations from the first moment, during the last few weeks the investigations into this serious event have entered an intensive phase, what they are doing in cooperation with the prosecution institutions is documenting with evidence the persons involved in this event and the discovery of all the mechanization that ordered and executed this serious event", said Balla.


We remember that one year ago today, the media and free speech were severely violated by a terrorist act that hit Top Channel television in the early hours of the morning.

The barrage of Kalashnikov bullets that were fired at the largest media building in the country and killed a security worker, 60-year-old Pal Kola, marked the worst attack in the media history of Albania. A year after the attack, the serious incident is still unsolved.
